This vintage porcelain covered casserole dish is accompanied by a matching oval serving platter. Both pieces feature an intricate floral and scrollwork design in shades of lavender, pink, and gold. The casserole dish has ornate gold-tone handles and a matching finial on the lid. The underside of the platter bears a faint maker’s mark, possibly an “S” with other symbols and “24”. The casserole dish exhibits significant crazing on the underside, indicating its age and usage, but appears to be structurally sound. The gold accents show some wear consistent with age.
